David Harris was born in Fresno, California, His father Clifton G. Harris Jr. was a lawyer, and his mother Elaine Jensen Harris was a housewife. He had one older brother named Clifton G. Harris III. First, his family was settled in Fresno and his grandfather, Levi Barringer was a master woodworker. He attended Fresno public school with his brother.
Personal Life
In 1967 her mother and 70 other women were arrested. David Harris and Joan Baez met at her home. They married in 1968, After the wedding they moved to Los Altos Hills. They welcomed their son in 1969, Harris was released from prison after 15 months but they separated after three months. Harris remarried to Lacey Fosburgh and they welcomed a daughter in 1983.
Fosburgh died in 1993 due to breast cancer and he began a relationship with Cheri Forester in 1996 and got married in 2011.
